cant join sparkd challenge

Hello there!

I am above 18, i play Sims 4, i am from Turkey. I cannot join Sparkd Challenge and i dont know the reason. There is no button to upload to the specific gallery next to the upload to twitter or upload to regular gallery. I updated my game today. I can see the submissions but i cant upload. Can you help? Thanks!

  • Hi @tulkak

Thanks so much for attaching those screenshots. I don't see the same button as in Hollie's image. Let's try some troubleshooting to see if we can help that button appear for you. To start I'll suggest you make a back-up and then repair the game and try it again. If that hasn't helped, let's clear the cache and uninstall/reinstall Origin. I've added the steps below

    • Make a Back-Up - EA Help Article
      • Open Windows Explorer/File Explorer and go to your Documents folder, then find the Electronic Arts folder.
        • If you’re uninstalling all of your games and/or Origin, right-click to Copy the entire folder.
        • If you’re only uninstalling one or some of your games, open the folders for those specific games and find the Saves folder. Right-click it and Copy them individually.
      • Paste to the desktop, or wherever else you would like to store your backups.
    • Repair Game
      • Select My Game Library in Origin.
      • Right-click on the game tile.
      • Select Repair Game.
    • Clear Cache - Please read this EA Help Article It will expand on the steps in more detail.
    • Re-installing Origin:
      • Close the Origin client.
      • Open the Control Panel (find it by searching “Control Panel” in the Start menu).
      • Click on Uninstall a program under Programs.
      • Click on Origin and uninstall.
      • Reinstall Origin, then try installing your game again.

    Hi @tulkak,

Sorry to hear that buttons being elusive. Would you be playing on PC, Mac or on Console (PS4/Xbox One)?

Could you also let us know how you're accessing the Gallery? For example, are you using the Gallery in-game/client or the Gallery website? If you can share screenshots of what you're seeing too that'd be great.

Thanks for your help very much. I tried all but none worked ☹️

  • The problem was with my restricted wifi, nothing to do with Sims. Thank you for everything! You are all great!
