Can't Sell Anything

I can't sell anything from my sims personal inventory.

    @michelle_renee86  Can you please make sure your mouse and keyboard are no longer connected to your console to ensure they are not interfering with your controller. 

    You can also completely shut down your console and wait about 60 seconds before turning it back on.

    Some items can not be sold from your sims inventory like earbuds and the conservation canoe. These items must be set down from the inventory by your sim and sold from the build mode. 

    You should be able to just press the Y/Triangle button depending on your console to sell stacks from the Sims inventory.

    @michelle_renee86 Have you tried opening the personal inventory area and dragging the item to 'sell'? Note that not all items can be sold this way, though. Can you please add a screenshot of what happens when you try to drag items to 'sell'? Also, do you have or have you had previously, Mods or CC in your game? Are you on Console or PC/Mac?

    I play on console and can only drag to sell when I connect the keyboard, but when I play with the controller(which i'm doing until I find a better keyboard) I can't sell anything, no matter what button I press.
