Career suggestion for Sims 4
Hi developers,
I have a suggestion for a career for the get famous pack for an update if you will. Adding in comic book artistry into it. It would require a writing and art skill to be further up. You can do the option of making a series and continuing the series or ending the series and choose how it ends is whether you lose or gain subscribers. That being said your Sims mood can affect how your sim ends the series. Bad mood = Kills everyone off simply and loses x amount of subscribers, good mood = happy ending for main character and leaves off on a good note ending up with x amount of more followers. Payment depends solely on subscriber amount 300 subscribers = x amount of daily pay. Back to the mood subject. What ever mood your Sim just happens to be in at the moment of drawing and writing the comic depends on how that particular set of "panels" works. Again also changing the amount of subscribers. Eventual this can lead to if the comic is good enough and written good enough have a percentage chance of a scout looking to turn the comic into an animated series. Accepting the contract gains a daily income raise like a promotion.
The career can have branches and based off those particular branches you choose can directly effect how you work. First choice starting out can be self publishing web comic, second can be sent to a publisher and submitted on a regular basis. Both have deadlines however the web one has a shorter dead line but the amount of time put into the comic also can affect subscribers (time spent working on it longer = more panels longer story line, shorter time less panels. Both giving to opportunity to gain more or less subscribers. I only suggest this because I am a published comic artist who loves this game. I would love to see this career path integrated into the career choices because it would show the struggles of being a comic writer. I feel this would make for a good challenge for a career path because your Sims mood can directly affect his/her career. This could also in turn add some more furniture options like comic panel posters, a drawing tablet that would make it easier for your sim to create comics, a animators studio/digital art studio, and much more.
