cas.fulleditmode glitch 2024

I have had the same glitch over multiple games. I will use testingcheats.on, then cas.fulleditmode. I will shift-click on the sim in question, change them, and when I come out of CAS, none of the changes will be there and the sim will be the same (or almost the same) as before I entered CAS. 

I do use mods, but this still occurs with all mods uninstalled. I have restarted the game, debugged the sim multiple times, gone into Plan Outfits or Change Sim on the dresser or mirror, I have hard-booted the program. The sim IS CORRECT IN CAS, but they will show up differently in CAS than they do in Live Mode. Does anyone have a fix for this? I've been fighting with it for months and I don't know what to do or how to fix it.

I am playing The Sims 4 on MacOS, and I have all expansions and packs except for Batuu.

    @jlmoore4936 Is it all Sims in those saves ? There's a glitch where you can't change Sims that you got through the Cupid's Corner gallery.

    Traditionally, it has been sims I've found via Cupid's Corner. Most recently, I had that problem on a sim from my household I'd aged up, but this time it resolved (seemingly permanently?) by telling them to change their outfit. With the Cupid's Corner sims, changing outfits definitely did NOT solve the problem. Possibly these were two different issues? Good to know it's a glitch and that I'm not going bananas. Thanks, Crin! Glad I reported it; they've been churning out a lot of fixes lately, so I imagine that's on the list too.
