CAS Issues PS5

I recently just bought the cottage living pack and before then I hadn’t been in cas for like 2 updates as I’m trying to create my sim, the cursor when I click into categories isn’t transferring over so I can’t scroll through the catalog and it made customizing really hard to the point where I just gave up so idk. if this is an issue that can be trouble shooted or if it’s because of the update. I also never got the welcome to cottage living pop or any of the pop up for the game packs I got, so I had to go through the lessons page to even know how the pack worked.
