Yes, the dog died while I was playing in the household, and the doggy was on the lot.
I removed the mods by taking out the mod folder from my Sims 4 folder in my files. Then, I put it in my documents.
I tested it one more time with my mods folder back in my Sims 4/EA files, and it worked that time. But I am concerned it will happen again.
Did you also delete the localthumbcache file ?
If it's a one off it's always hard to tell what happened, especially if you are a mod user.
Going to move this to gameplay for now but do come back if you have further issues without mods.
