Certain Sims can lose ability to eat

@thoughtfix Will try on your set of packs. I don't think the issue is a pack you have but one you don't have that's why I needed the packs you own.

EDIT: I can duplicate it on your set of packs so now to narrow down which missing pack is causing issues).

EDIT EDIT: Enabling Jungle Adventure fixes it (this is not a recommendation to buy the pack). Wonder if some mod added something to your Sim that was related to the pack and now fails because the pack isn't present.

When I have the pack enabled the Sim gets a moodlet from the pack, It's called overwhelming Flavor and it says that the Sim can't eat the whole meal. My guess is that this is what's causing the issue.

You created the Sim from scratch right ? Have you also been using mods or just CC ? I don't think cc would add this moodlet but maybe it was some mod that had a component for JA.

@thoughtfix I'm moving this to game issues for now for troubleshooting.

Will check this out later as I'm bit short on time currently.

Did you do similar with other Sims that have this issue or did it ever happen to one on an always vanilla game ?

Do you still have the Sim in the gallery ? If so, what's the name ?

Thanks, Crin. I tried to write it up as detailed as possible, like I'd write a bug report at work.

Before the sim in this savegame, I did a lot of troubleshooting but not as extensive. I did repairs, reinstalls from scratch, and moving the savegame from the PC to the Mac.
The Sim is in my gallery, but it is not public. It's an edit of someone else's public gallery post (I don't remember who) and I didn't want to repost it with my name on it. Plus I tend to use a lot of less-than-mature names for my characters (Andy Felterbottom, Wayne Kingman, Peter Lee King, Drew Peacock, Ophelia Knightley, you get the idea) so I tend to not make my characters public.
I am continuing on the same save file with at least four characters in this "busted" state, all running as unplayed households so they can continue the family lines. Every time I go back to check on them, they refuse to eat whether they are being controlled by me or running as Townies.

  @thoughtfix Started up your save and loaded the lot you described. She ate the garden salad that was in front of her. Then she made Delicioso'd spaghetti and ate that too ☹️
  
  The installation on the mac was completely new with never played before ?
  
  EDIT: Which packs do you own ? Cooking was also no issue. Moved her into a house.

    That's odd! I am installing Sims 4 on a machine (through EA, not Steam) on a machine that never had anything on it before since reformatting (a spare Zephyrus laptop from 2020) and I'll try loading the savegame there.
    I have a LOT of DLC. 39 I think. I'd screenshot the list but I can't be logged into the launcher on this PC while downloading from the other PC for (thanks EA)
