Changing Alien sims to Normal sims

I was struggling to find a solution to this but now that I have I wanted to share it.

This was posted for removing Vampirism but it works with alien which makes me believe it will work with any of the occult options.

First turn cheats on (testingcheats on), select the sim you want to alter.

Now in the text box type:

traits.remove_trait trait_OccultAlien

For Vampirism replace Alien with Vampire.

I'm assuming you can swap that part out for any of the occult options in order to remove it from your sim.

On a side note you cannot turn an alien into a PlantSim.
