Character appears to be blackface…

I’m not really sure where to post this but yesterday a sim popped up that I find kinda disturbing as it looks too much like black face. I’m sure it wasn’t the intention and it’s likely really bad makeup choices but I do think it’s something that needs to be looked at as I can’t be the only person to see it as black face.

    Hi @shannon730,

    That looks to be Savannah Price from Copperdale experiencing some serious issues with their eyes, is this happening in a vanilla game or are you using mods/cc?

    Vanilla game. I don’t remember her name, so that could be who it is, but yeah, hopefully it’s a weird glitch.

    @shannon730

    Thank you for providing this! This has now been sent along to The Sims team to be investigated further.

  • I have had townies in my game running around looking the same. Didn't think much of it, just another townie with horrible make up and usually horrible outfit too. That's why I play with Cas.fulleditmode cheat on all the time so I can fix then when I see them. LOL

    Which I did fix her. However, I thought I'd report it because if I saw it as black face it is just a matter of time before someone else makes a much bigger issue about it and assumes it's an intentional racist act not a programming issue because random makeup is selected by a computer, not a human being. So if it's a fixable issue someone should look into it.
