sims 4 update
Hello, I'm new to sims 4 and I bought a dlc a few days ago and I did not checked the option for it to be update automatically. How should I update it? Thank you!

Hi, and welcome on board! Normally, on PC, when I add new pack, there will be a symbol on the TS4 game telling me there is new content waiting to be installed. I can then choose to install it before playing, or I can wait - in case I want to save it for later. I think the install symbol/note is separated from the general updating of the game, but I don't think you can choose to install a pack without update your game. In my case they both are done easily, but with many packs the update might take a bit longer than you'd expect. You can follow the progress in the left-bottom corner of the screen. All can be done without needing to have the "automatically update my game" on.
On PC you should always backup your game and take out any CC/mods if you have that, before adding a new pack. Just to make sure the pack runs smoothly (start it and play a random set up for a few minutes). If anything seems wrong later, you will know it is caused by mods or CC.
