Cheatcode bb.moveobject works except for clustering counters or desks

Hey, i just have a question and i hope someone might be able to help me.
I have been playing sims 4 for a long time and just decided today to actually use the bb.moveobject CC (i know shame on me for waiting so long) and i was placing some furniture around and experimenting with things and then I realised that the ALT + move objects works on the main grid but not for clustering or placing objects on counters/tables fourniture. 

could someone help me out if possible? I have been reserching for one hour now 😭

    @Satans_sister159  Surfaces (tables, counters, etc.) have slots, and items must be placed in a proper slot.  That's why alt placement doesn't work here.

    There is a workaround though.  Move the surface out of the way, figure out the exact position you want the object in question, and put it on the ground in that position.  Enable bb.moveobjects, then use 9 to move the object up to the proper height; 0 moves it down.  Then move the surface underneath it.
