Try the following
- Close the game
- Rename Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 to Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4_Old
- Repair the game
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry.
- Start a new save game
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

Hi! Removing the old folder and repairing the game fixed the issue with the quests not showing up, although now I am struggling to complete the quests as of my issue here https://forums.ea.com/idea/the-sims-4-bug-reports-en/sims-are-not-movingfreezinganimation-problems-patch-1-112/11849452/comments/12642344 I cannot get my child sim to function long enough to get into the sylvan glade
Even with a new Sim in a new save ? It doesn't really need to be a kid either. I personally have a separate save just for the events and forgot to save after doing the first tasks so I did week two with my regular Sim with no issues.

- Press Windows-Key + R
- Type: DxDiag
- Click on Save all Information.
- Attach the Text File to your post
