code already redeemed?

Just got Sims 4 Growing Together as a christmas present. I brought it to my PC, came to EA, logged in and redeemed my product code. It automatically said that the code had already been redeemed. So I thought maybe it did work. So I opened Sims 4, started a new game, made a new family and moved into a house. Then I go looking through all of the objects to see what new stuff came with Sims 4 Growing Together. It's then that I notice Growing Together didnt actually download or anything. The product code that its saying was already used, i got straight from the amazon order in which it was bought. Something like this ALWAYS happens now that everything is electronic and we don't get discs anymore. I waited ALL YEAR for this and now I cant even get helped because a lot of the help resources were closed for the holidays and wont be back for another week.

  • @Bellabloodcrave  You'll need to contact Amazon support for this.  Explain the situation and you should get help, especially because Amazon is an authorized seller of EA games and therefore has certain obligations to make sure the content it delivers is valid.

  • I figured out what I did wrong and now I believe it is something I'm going to need to fix with EA. I have 2 EA accounts, this account that I'm on has no games on it at all, this account is what I redeemed it with. My other account is the one I have my Sims 4 on. This is something I need to fix with EA, right? Also, thank you so much for your time and quick replies. I've been playing and troubleshooting my way through all Sims 1, 2, 3, and now 4 and I've never gotten such quick help. And you don't even work for them! Thank you again!

Oh another issue I'm having. So in the EA app I have no issue logging in on both of my accounts. But here on the website for answers, when I try to log in with my account that has sims 4 on it, it sends a security code to my e-mail before letting me proceed. Problem is that the codes never get sent to that e-mail. I tried on christmas and just now. It says my credentials are incorrect or expired. But I know I have the password right cuz i just succesfully logged in with it on the EA app.

@bellabloodcrave3  You could have your two accounts merged, and yes, that would be something for EA customer support to handle.  The issue with the security codes might also disappear if the merged account is the one having trouble.  Otherwise, support may be able to help with that too.  But make sure the codes aren't simply delayed or going to your spam folder, both of which can happen at times.
