Corrupted saves / error code after EA App update (tried all standard fixes)

Hi there,

I haven't played for a few weeks. Today, I updated the game via the EA app. However, I can't load my game now and always get the following error code, no matter what I do: I tried the following things several times:

- Recovering the EA app, Repairing Sims 4, Reinstalling Sims 4
- Running the game without mods
- Running the game without the tray and mods
- Trying to recover saves within the game
- Trying to delete the whole Sims4 file and generate a new one
- Deleting caches, etc. I tried reloading an older saved file that had worked previously, but nothing worked.

The game only runs if I delete the save file and start a new game. Otherwise, I get this error code. I have several years of saved games and I'm freaking out at the thought of starting again.

Do you have any idea how I can fix my save files?
