Cottage Living Parks/animals

This is not a bug, but there is some modification to the way the park works in cottage living, normally you can only buy animals on residential lots, but I put 2 or 3 in the park with fences (in my game) but realized the lot is a park, so right now my sims (or random sims) won't show up there to see the animals, or interact with them. What if your sim is poor, but wants to engage with an animal, or maybe just make a sim pet friend? The actual animal isn't usually too expensive, but the buildings kinda are for people not using a code that is. Anyway, is there any way we can get (if we want) animals in parks, at least for the cottage living pack. I don't know if anyone else notice this, or did, but never said anything, but since one of my builds was a park with animals, it kinda bummed me out to realize that those pets are not set for park areas, although it would make sense if they did, technically I guess that would be more like a petting zoo, but hey 'why not'? lol. Anyway, just an idea that maybe there could be a slight altering of code to allow for animals to be placed on community or park areas, it doesn't have to be for every venue, but parks and nature areas, really make sense to me, them being there.

    @jpkarlsen I guess, but maybe a missed opportunity...maybe I do kinda wish a petting zoo would fit nicely into cottage living, but I just wondered. Thanks for answering. I guess I had a particular build I was going for, but I couldn't entirely do it that way.I guess I'll have to remove the pet areas, or either change the lot type to something else. I don't know if generic lots allow animals or is that just residential lots?

    Yeah, in a Vanilla game is this not possible. I have a mod for buying animals everywhere because my *Farm* is not on my lot. (Its Bienchen -> CottageLiving -> buycottageanimalseverywhere)

    I’m not a fan of petting zoo, I don’t think this is right so I can understand that this is not possible. In Vanilla you can only buy animals in your residential lot.
