Cutting and Grafting Issue

Grafting and cutting issue:

I cut some snapdragon seeds to graft with strawberry to create dragon fruit. The cutting was successful.. at first. I then clicked “graft” selecting my items from inventory (snapdragon cutting) , it allowed the action, the animation started, then nothing. I now try to cut and the same issue: allow action -> animation -> no outcome. no inventory addition. Both cutting and grafting aren’t giving me an outcome or acknowledging the action
