Everything on the gallery is corrupt
I have tried everything from removing all CC, resetting cache, repairing the game, to completely deleting and uninstalling the game, then reinstalling, however my gallery remains corrupt. Every time I open the gallery, what is meant to be photos comes up as red crosses, and if I try to click on something, it alerts me that the lot/room/household is corrupt and asks if I would like to delete (which I can't because the build doesn't belong to me).I think its a ui issue?
I have no mods or cc in my game , taken it all out and started a vanilla save file because of the issues im having in game. The in game icons on the top right and bottom left disappear every time i enter build and buy mode and then jump back to live mode. My sims actions dont stay on the one sim info bar it shows on the other sim in the same household which is weird . And my sims action cancel alot its very annoying.
Flowers disappearing from inventory + won't place in game
My sim harvested toxic chamomile and bought begonia from a starter flower pack. When I tried to place the begonia from her inventory, it would just unselect the flowers and not place. Selecting "place in world" didn't work either. Left the lot and came back to see if it would work and instead both flowers disappeared. What's weird is I bought a rose and a tulip from the phone, and they placed in the world fine.
Negatives of UI elements appear when changing screens
I recently got a new laptop and just opened up the sims for the first time, and found that when different menus would go away the negative would remain on the screen for a second before going away, almost like it was lagging. I have no mods, and I tried changing every single graphics setting in the game, and it wasn't changed. Below is a picture of what it looks like, but it would happen on various menus, such as the age/voice/gender menu, or when you choose an occult. Please help!
Getaway Timer Circle not showing up properly.
I thought this was a mod issue at first so I tried removing my mods until none are left and still experiencing this. My getaway timer circle (the circle that shows how many times left before the getaway ended) will either show a complete circle, or a full rounded circle occasionally. Nothing in between. I check some lets play video and it shows that the circle supposed to be progressively reducing, like how when you went on dates or vacation. Since Ive ruled out the mods by manually removing them, disabling mods in options and removing cache, is there anything in the settings that might affect this? Please advise.
Base Game Toilet Registering As Island Living?
Trying to do a limited build using the new Adventure Awaits Pack and Base Game Only. Upon trying to use the Base Game Toilet - Atlantis Plumbtrap, my game is registering it as Island Living item. Therefore trying to load it to the gallery as an Adventure Awaits and Base Game only build, it is showing Adventure Awaits as well as Island Living. I saved the lot in my gallery, to try to figure this out, and when I click on the Island Living icon, to see what items were used from the pack, there is the option to "see what is used", and when clicked there are NO items listed; and mind you it is showing me "see items listed" under CAS section, and not down on the build mode section. In order to figure out what the item was, I had to save each room singularly. then hover over them to see what had the Island living item. then loaded into that room only and deleted items, and resaved the room until i could see what was the "Island Living" item. and it is telling me that it is the toilet. We visibly saw the symbol for island living show up overtop of the toilet, after NOT being there for multiple screen flips. and double checking myself, I researched all items for Island Living, and then searched the toilet name, and it shows it as supposing to be base game. so not sure why it is glitching as such. I was bugging out and do not have a screenshot where the island living icon was on the base game toilet. I was restarting things, and looking around in such confusion. but it wasn't there, then showed up, then went away.
