Destination Wedding? How do you get married in Selvadorada?

(PS4 player)

The latest update on Sept 3rd ( PS4 v1.31) says that we can now have our sims get married at destination locations. I have been wanting to have a Selvadorada wedding at the Cantina forever! I was so excited to do this but I've been trying all day to figure this out & frankly I'm starting to think this is impossible.

I've tried,

- Talk to fiance-> Plan Wedding Event

- Phone-> Plan a social event

- Travel to the jungle do above actions (YOU CANNOT GET MARRIED WHILE ON VACATION error message occurs)

- Elope Immediately while in Selvadorada (This works but is obviously NOT the intended outcome. Also was attacked by bugs & the elope action just stopped halfway through.)

I don't think I'm doing this wrong. I've restored my game console, restarted the console, given it a pep talk & begged it to work but no matter what I try I don't think issue is on me or my end the actions just are not possible. Any help please?

So what am I missing here? Are weddings in Selvadorada & Granit Falls possible or not?

    Hi @Amalathea It can be possible with mods, if not opposed to them it's the only workaround I can think of for you. As long as you keep it updated they can enhance your game experience.

    Zerbu has "The Sims 4 Mods: World Type Changes (Destination to Residential or vice-versa)" it's something you'd have to google, or find the link to Zerbu at the Mods Tracker under "World Type Changes", it was last updated in late August, so it should be working fine.  nb: there are no downloadable mods there just info to them
