Destroy object (debug) cheat not working

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When cheats are enabled and right-clicking on an object, there is the option to "destroy object (debug)." It used to delete the object, but now does nothing.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing happens to the object to be deleted.
What do you expect to see? I expect the cheat to get rid of the object. It was helpful to delete objects that couldn't be deleted through build/buy mode like uneditable lots.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
