Do I need to update my mods just for a patch?

Hello! The My Wedding Stories patch came out (no,I do not have the pack) and i’m wondering if i need to update my mods? i started playing the Sims 4 in December so i’m not so sure of all the things to do. i know i have to update my mods after an update but not sure if i do for a patch. if somebody could respond i’d be really grateful!🙂

    A patch is an update.

    You always need to check for compatibility of the Mods and CC you use when there is an update.

    Okay, thank you so much for answering! if you know, how long does it usually take for modders to update ui cheats and mccc?

    Those two are normally updated within a day or two after a patch (or cleared to work).
