@EmzyDalsvida I want to like them... but I always forget about them... I think the next time my sims have children (I do a lot of legacy type games) I will play with them!

Yep, I've done the same, I've never been a child-focused player, and when I do run children it's usually a straight drill through all the aspirations to get them aged up as wunderkind ASAP. Voidcritters have nothing to do with any of the standard aspirations, and as a result get left in the dust.
I understand adult sims can play the game too (IIRC), so maybe I will get around to it at some point.
- @civvercivver I don't think adults can play voidcritters? Although I've seen a mod for it. I think it could be really fun to let teens and adults play with voidcritters. Adults can collect, but not play with. Especially for geeky or childish sims! I still like to decorate my sims' rooms with voidcritter stuff if they're geeky, lol
