Does anyone know if there was a fix yet?

I remember there was an issue with the loyal trait: or atleast people thought that was the issue: it was making sims flirt with other sims and then have the cheating issues: my sim had a damn relationship bar with her toddler and it’s still there. So I removed the loyal traits from my sims and it worked. But now, I have a storyline going where I have two families living under one roof, the parent sims are best friends. One of the adult sims now has a relationship bar with my sims teenage daughter. I had her ask him to just be friends and the bar disappeared but I don’t want this to keep happening. So is the loyal trait fixed? If I add it back now, will they not flirt with other sims? He’s married, and he’s adult, she’s a teen. It makes no sense. So maybe it was never the loyal trait that was the issue. 

also, does anyone know how I get rid of the relationship bar with my sim and her kid? I used a cheat but that just turned it red and now says “it’s complicated”. How do I get rid of that bar all together?
