Does getting rid of CC delete builds with CC?

I want to take my custom content out of my sims 4 folder so my game runs faster and I don't use it anymore. I will still keep the files if I want them back but they will be on my desktop, therefore n...

@Trismagistos Thanks for the reply! So basically what you're saying is if I were to put the same CC items back in my mods folder and place the lots, nothing would be missing (besides bugged or outdated CC)?

@emma6706 As long as you don't save the game while the CC is gone, once you put the CC back in, everything will still be there.

That's why I recommended starting a new save. If at some later date you put all the CC back in, you can load up your old save and everything will still be there.
