Dog sitters?

@savedasims I like the idea of hiring dogwalkers. It could be one of the services a Sim can rent. 

But the option to become a vet is also woven into the gameplay of buying the veterinary clinic. It is one of both. Or you buy a clinic or you start one at a lot of your choice. You could even try to create your own veterinary clinic and create a living accommodation near it or even on the same lot. You wil have to find a workaround to live there at the same time but it is one of the possibilities. Just give it a try.

@savedasims I also agree 100%!! Thank you for re-igniting this conversation! I also have hoped that this 'job'/hiring out option would be added to the game (it would be a great teen, elder or part-time job option, especially for a dog-loving Sim)! When added as a task you could assign to your maid or butler would help some. Also boarding your pet would be a nice option... and @Trismagistos, I love the idea of incorporating options into vet clinic services!

Also, as to your vet comment, that is a good point. It would be nice to not have to purchase a Vet Clinic in order to have your active Sim work and train as a vet. 

@savedasims , I agree with @Trismagistos  and @SheriGR  that this is a great idea! 🙌 It would also be great part-time job for teens! 😎

This seems like another pack that would require the cats and dogs expansion and when they released the my first pet stuff pack that wasn't met with a lot of praise. It is a good idea, it is just not something that is base game support. Maybe Cat and Dog upgrade? Would they upgrade the expansion to this degree?

@ValFreya13 , I agree they wouldn't add this in another pack.  I think most (if not all) of us were thinking of a base game update.  But you do bring up a good point in questioning whether they would update a pack like this, since they usually do updates like this to the base game but not packs.  It doesn't mean they won't, but it does make it less likely.  However, one thing they could do is to update several packs with small improvements💡. It might not happen but it is fun to dream! 😉
