    It seemed to solve itself once I restarted for the third time, purely by coincidence.

could you test this if it works if both are young adults and maybe also test a teen that doesn't have a brother ?

Would be good to know if this is actually an issue with having two Sims applying or if a problem with early graduated Sims.
