Duplicate lots in the gallery?
I'm not sure why this keeps happening, but I keep seeing duplicate lots in the gallery? Is this normal or is this a bug?
This lot- by the same creator, appeared at least 20 or 30 times as I was scrolling. I've taken out the creator's username and lot name just in case they've uploaded the build multiple times on purpose- I didn't want my question to be a criticism of them, as I've seen this occur quite a lot over the years- this is the first time I've gotten up the nerve to ask about it (I'm an antisocial hermit in the Sims community lol).
I'm just curious and would like to figure out why it happens- like if this is a bug, or if maybe this is something creators do to generate more attention for their builds. And if it's something that creators do, I suppose it's understandable- after working on a build for a long time, you want people to find it.
@SparklishBobbin It may just be down to the fact that sometimes it doesn't tell the creator that it's posted so they post it again. It often happens to me so I double check after posting a build that I haven't added it numerous times and I remove the duplicate(s).
Or another possible reason could be posting to the gallery while meaning to post edits of the same lot to the library instead.
It does seem a bit odd though to have that many copies of the same lot.
