[EBN] Can't change into fairy form/use powers

I installed the content for enchanted by nature pack and played that for a few weeks, and now I've installed the Businesses and Hobbies pack. After launching and playing my sims can no longer Revea...

I started up a new save and tested all of the actions again, and still no response.

So it does seem to be a general issue with my game, and not save based.

I don't know if there is any relevance to this matter, but a while back I had issues with EA not allowing me to make dlc purchases without a gift card. After that I switched to using Steam, but after alot of struggles with the game not working anymore I had to make duplicate files of everything, one for the EA folder and one for the Steam folder. I did the same thing for the Ep files for this pack as well.

Don't worry too much about rushing to help me, I understand completely if you have other things going on, and I'm just grateful that you are helping at all 🌸

I wonder if a complete reinstall of the game is in order.  I know this is tedious and to me a last resort kinda thing but if you had messed up installations, it might be best.

  1. Backup your user files
  2. Uninstall the steam and ea app version. If you can, it might be best to use a tool like revo uninstaller.
  3. Make sure you have no sims installation files left in either your steam folder or the Sims installation folder
  4. Reinstall the game.

    Hey Crinrict

    I completely removed all the files and reinstalled everything. I also made sure to select the install folder for the EA to be in the same location as the Steam, that way when I launch via steam all of the dlc's get loaded directly from the same folder.

    This seams to have done the trick. I started a new save and everything seems to be functioning again.

      Did you put back your save yet and does that also work ?

      junoandmars​ What steps have you taken yet ? Did you never use mods/cc or remove them ?
