The fact that I’ve found this thread 4 years later due to having the same issue I guess tells me either EA doesn’t care about it or doesn’t really read these…
EA doesn't usually "fix" things that are already working as designed. As @SheriGR said, in the post right above yours, "Turns out that this is how columns normally behave, but it just seems annoying with this one since it has distinctive sides, and in certain placings it can be inconsistent since it snaps to the direction it will accept."
