Editing tenants using CAS

If I try to edit my tenants in For Rent using CAS; on finishing the edited sim becomes the default played family. Very annoying when switching back to my played family I discover handy dad watching cooking programs, grandma practicing programming, daughter dancing and other skills I didn't want them to indulge in. Is there still no control over the rogue VI you've put in charge of my sims???

Can I create in CAS or mark downloaded families as tenants using CAS that I can possibly see wanting to rent my properties?

    @tommynocker001 

    See if you can recover a save from before you did this.

    If you want specific tenants you need to move them in from Manage World.

    Here's an interesting twist. I brought San Sequoia 1 Parkside Place. Bulldozed it and started building apartments. My families name is on it; but it didn't stop my 'landlord' paying a visit! Some dodgy looking sim...

    Also the name I chose "Parkside Apartments" will not stick!

    @tommynocker001 

    If you play as a tenant a random sim is given the role of landlord.

    Not keeping the name is a known issue you can find it in the bugs section.

    How do I buy the place? I thought it was through Owned Businesses Buy residential Rental, but the place is not for sale, even though in 'manage worlds' my sim is the property owner!

    @tommynocker001 

    Click their unit and select to play them  if they do not have an apartment there choose to load the game and click on their house.

    This is where the problem started; I used CAS.fulleditmode to edit my tenant (my tenant had a light fingered trait). Once I had edited the tenant the game had switched to the tenant as the playing family. I clicked on the door to convert back to my original family. The original family now has a 'landlord' (some random sim). There seems to be no way to return the property to the ownership of my original family even though they are listed as the owners on the house in manage worlds...

    I'd also like to be able to create tenant lists from downloaded sims and using CAS so that I can have sims I created (or others have created) turning up as tenants.
