Ever since the 9/18/2024 update I have not been able to load into my current save. I have been able to access build mode and create-a-sim, but when I attempt to enter Live mode the game seems to get stuck on an endless loading screen. I have:

1) Repaired my game at least three times, has not had any effect.

2) Removed ALL mods; makes no difference, I still cannot enter Live mode. I do not encounter any issues in Build or Create-A-Sim mode with or without mods.

3) Restarted my computer multiple times.

4) Cleared my cache twice.

At this point the only thing I know of that I have not attempted was uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I did test in a new save, and I was able to load that without issue. However I would really like to be able to fix my current save if possible as I am several generations deep. I have all the Expansion Packs and Game Packs, all Stuff Packs except Luxury Party and Perfect Patio, and most of the Build Kits apart from Industrial Loft. The only things that have changed about my game are the recent update and the installation of the Storybook Nursery Kit and Artist Studio Kit. 

If anyone has suggestions I haven't tried yet I would appreciate it.

    @SparkChamber are you using the off-the-grid lot challenge ? There's currently a bug with that.

    If not, do other lots in your save game load ?

      I am not, the only lot challenge I have activated is Creepy Crawlies from Jungle Adventure.

      No, none of the other lots load. I tried playing with a different Sim who was at the High School and couldn't load that either.

        Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

        Best is to delete the ones you have, then trigger the error and check if new ones are created.

        If that is the case, please upload them to a new post in this thread.

        Please either create a .rar file to upload or copy/paste the content into your post.

        Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Uploading the file is meant for troubleshooting.

    As suggested, I triggered the error. It created a new LastException file, and this was what was in it.
