Error 801 no matter what i do

I keep getting error 801. Every time I think I fix it, it happens again shortly after. I've tried repairing, uninstall then reinstalling, deleted all recommended files. I had to completely wipe everything and start from brand new, and it still only worked for a short time before I tried to move the household into a new house and the error persisted. I can't play the game with this error, it either doesn't let me load (shows the error) or all the lots disappear if they ever do load, nothing works properly. Super frustrated with having tried all the recommended steps and nothing is working. Also, can't figure out how to contact EA about this or if that's even possible. :(
