When launching the game and selecting the last played household, either from the "Resume" shortcut on the homepage or by selecting the household via the neighborhood they live in, a popup appears with the Error 102. This usually means outdated mods/CC. Full error code: 102:e479f804:a53701cf.
I have removed all mods from the Mods folder. I do not have any CC. I still get the error when launching the game. The error only occurs when I select the last played household. If I launch the game and select a different household, I do not receive the error. If I play that different household, then leave (with or without saving) and select the problem household, the error appears.
I have cleared the cache, deleted the localthumbcache.package, and deleted all last exception files. I have tried unselecting the Allow Custom Content and Mods checkbox and relaunching the game. I have updated the game. I have repaired the game. I have evicted the problem household and moved them into a new lot in a new neighborhood, and still receive the error when selecting that household to play.
Attached is my DxDiag file. There are also two new last exception files which appeared in the folder after the last time I launched the game, however I attempted to upload these as well but there was some content type/file extension error and they were removed. Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.
No sims in an active career; the household only has two people sims (and one dog — a puppy added to them via Manage Households). One sim is unemployed and the other is in a pre-determined career of Tech Guru.

1. Split the household in two households 2. Try to load the Sim that's left in the house (ignore the dog for now, just leave him with the household that stays in the house) 3. If you can, place the other Sim into another random lot and see if you can load that one.
This is to determine if it's a Sim that's an issue.
That seems to have fixed the issue! I was able to play with the sim I split into a new household, and also able to go back to the original household with the remaining sim and play with him in the original lot. Rejoining them together as one household does not produce the error anymore. Playing them together is going fine without any errors.
