event rewards not showing

Hey!

So for a while now ive had an issue with hosting an event. Everytime i host a goaled event only the timer shows up but the goals and rewards dont so when the event iis done i end up with bronze. Ive seen other people having this issue on here but it was either because it was an npc hosted event, they didnt tick the goaled event box or there was already a goaled event going on but neither of these are applyable in my case. I always make sure there are no other things planned on that day and that i tick the box (and i know that there are events with no goals but i dont even get goals for bday parties or kids sleepovers) so i dont know what else could be the problem. I do use quite a lot of mods in game so maybe that could be it?

I hope someone can help me so i can host cutesy events again ☹️

gameplay issue

    I get invited to the snowy escape events like snow festival then can travel there and it takes me to the correct location but the tasks do not show up in the left corner.

    Please move your mods folder to the desktop, delete Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > localthumbcache and then try again on a backup of your save to see of you can duplicate the issue on a game with no mods.

    So i just did that and even without mods the goals are still not showing up...

    I dont really know what else could be the cause of this.

    Try the following

    • Close the game
    • Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    • Repair the game
    • Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry. Be aware that your claimed event rewards will also be gone for the time being but you will get them back with your other things.
    • Start a new save game
    • Check if you still have the error
    • Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
