It is 930pm, WST why is the ""event"" still not working? It was supposed to go on until the 4th.

Is anybody there? Does anybody care?
I can't stay up all night after spending all day installing and reinstalling it trying to get it to work.
No mods, no event bar, no little corner thing. Does the event even exist or a figment of my imagination?
I think there have been some mixed messages about whether the Forever Friends event was going to end BEFORE the 4th or ON the 4th.
I've seen people reporting this on the bug report forum so definitely give these reports an upvote to let the team know!
Uninstalled/reinstalled three times today, cleared caches.. Everything. Okay, bugs, what else is new??
Well I am in PST so it should still be going if it ends on the 4th. I will be glad when I can get back to Sims 3. I still have all my discs.
Unfortunately, the end time for these events seems to be around 9 or 10 am PST on the final day of the event instead of going until midnight. It leads to a lot of confusion and has been a recurring issue for every event. Sorry to hear you uninstall and reinstalled so many times in vain. Hopefully, they’ll make it clearer exactly at what time these events end next time.
It didn't appear this morning either, and I am in PST. I downloaded the update/patch and it was never there.
This is incorrectly marked as a solution. OP clearly stated that they were playing earlier in the day and still could not access the event. Several other players have reported bugs where the event disappeared as early as the morning of the 4th. EA customer service confirmed to me yesterday afternoon that the event was supposed to run until 11:59pm PST on the 4th.
