Add more business activities & employee tasks

I'm hoping that more business activities and employee tasks get added to businesses and hobbies! I'm sure there's a lot more I could think of when I play more and try new businesses, but for now I have some suggestions with what I've run into myself.

I made a petting farm with my livestock and I set up a produce stand with the idea that the people could come and pet and enjoy the livestock. Unfortunately unlike with the cats and dogs, the only option to interact with the live stock is the Care for Livestock option, which means they will constantly feed the chickens and then there's chicken feed everywhere. I'd be fine with caring for livestock being the only option if it meant they didn't feed the chickens when there's already enough food.

In addition, I was disappointed to find that I can't have employees do a task and then put their product for sale themselves. I was hoping to have a chef that made snacks and would automatically stock the shelves with it, but that doesn't seem to be an option. Same thing with pottery - it would be great to be able to have the employees do pottery and then be able to "stock shelves with created crafts". I'd really like for my employees to be able to also contribute to the business in that way.

New Employee tasks:

  • Do pottery
  • Stock Shelves with Created Crafts (anything that the employee is able to make)
  • Stock Shelves with Harvested Produce

General feedback:

  • I would like to be able to sell any pottery crafted and left behind by other Sims using the business, since it's a shame that a fully finished piece just gets scrapped.
  • Sims currently enter my house after the business closes even if the door is locked for everyone. It's incredibly frustrating because they eat my leftovers and sleep in my bed.
  • Sims often will never finish their pottery completely even when they set the un-glazed piece at the kiln.
  • Can my employees level up their skills somehow? I was trying to get an employees pottery skill one level higher so they could put on classes themselves, but I can't seem to figure out how to do that. I've tried mentoring but I'm not sure if it's making skill progress for them or not.
  • It would be cool for Sims to take Simstagram photos in your business, whether that's a business activity or not.
