Ever since the update - there are items I cannot find

My C.D.O. will not allow me to get over this. (C.D.O. is like O.C.D. but the letters are alphabetical - the way they should be).  Anywho, since the update, there are "yellow" or "highlighted" sections in objects - indicating new objects.  Well, I cannot find them.  I am looking in business venues.  I am looking in every venue.  I am cheating to unlock everything.  I typed in debug, you name it.  THEY ARE NOT THERE.  Am I missing something?
