Every screenshot game freezes.

Every time I take a screenshot, my game freezes.

When I take a screenshot in the Sims 4 using the C key on the keyboard my game freezes and I can't click on anything. And when it freezes I can't leave the game, I press the alt+f4 command and it does nothing, I try to launch Task Manager, but when I do that the game just white screens, and the only option to leave the game is to restart my computer. And the screenshot does not save in the screenshots folder. Turned on HDR in Windows is a known cause with freezing just after taking a screenshot. I tried to turn off HDR, but my computer does not have HDR. I updated my graphics drivers and changed a few graphics settings in The Sims 4, but it is still freezing after taking a screenshot. Does someone know about this problem? Could it be hardware related? Please if you can, help me. I like playing The Sims 4 and I need to take screenshots, but it is freezing and screenshots are not being saved in the screenshots folder.
