@CeissaDesiste, I understand your frustration 😞, but there is no way from your original post that @PoptartJuniper could tell how experienced you are at gaming. You could have only started gaming a few months ago, or you could have been gaming for 35 years. If you don't tell people which troubleshooting measures you have already undertaken, then there is no way for us to know what you have tried or haven't tried. Therefore, it is best to assume that those measures haven't been tried yet, and then start with the simplest measures and then go up from there as more info becomes available. There have been many times when it is assumed that posters have done the research that you did, only to find out they didn't. So mentioning the easier troubleshooting measures is not "sweeping issues under the rug" , rather it is the first step in determining where a poster is at in the process. 😇
Like @Rae_Regenbogen stated, some of those issues are known bugs and some are not. Some of them might be unique to consoles or to the PS4, but others definitely occur on PCs and Macs as well. 🤨
Finally, in regards to #16 on your list, does the crazy weather happen all the time or just some of the time? 🤔 It shouldn't be happening all the time, but there is a lesser known type of weather in the game called "Mystery Weather"! 😃 On the days that it snows in summer or has a heat wave in winter, check your calendar for the type of weather forecasted for that day. If it says Mystery Weather, then your game is functioning normally and there is nothing to worry about , just a little in-game fun, like the holiday gnomes 😉 (If this is annoying to you, you can use the Weather Machine that @Rae_Regenbogen mentioned to change the weather into something that makes more sense or is easier to deal with. 😉) But if it doesn't say Mystery Weather on these days, or if it happens every day, then there is something wrong! 😮
Okay guys, I can vouch for the weather issue since the weather in my game is probably off so maybe it's something to what @CeissaDesiste says. It rains way too much in my game and it may because of the season length. It's a guess though. @CeissaDesiste, just out of curiousity, what is your season length? From other posts, here I've learned that things work a little different depending on the season length and that may be in play here.
I play a long life game with 28 day seasons. I was playing a couple of vampires in Brindleton Bay at the time. It rained everyday, all day and all night, from the 3rd week of spring until the 2nd week in the fall with only 2 clear days in all that time. I was getting at least one thunderstorm a week too. Sometimes it would go from hard rain to a light rain but it never stopped. I thought I was going to have to call Noah or build an ark. It was ridiculous, it rained so much. The weather in that world is not right imo.
And every 7 day trip I have made to Selvadorado in the winter, and I go a lot, I am lucky to get just one clear day if that. Most times I don't get that. Again it rains all day and all night continuously. It isn't much better in the rest of the seasons either but winter is the worst.
Is this the type of thing you are seeing @CeissaDesiste?
