No, the Sims 4 does not run on a Chromebook. Sims 4 needs either macOS or Windows to run. There's also a console version available for XBox 1 and PS4.

I have the same problem, My chromebook is a newer version. I have HP though. It won't let me download any games accept the ones in the chrome web store. I want Sims 4 though!!

You may be able to if you can get a PHYSICAL copy.
You can get a usb CD reader, Wine(a Windows emulator for chromebooks), and a 16gb SD
It will take a while for you to get Wine set up,i might add.
If not you can find a old office compter to run it on.(It has very low specs)
- It would be almost impossible to run Sims on a chrome book. The hard drive is to small to run it. Chromebooks are not the same as laptops and are not meant for PC level gaming. They are meant primarily for web based applications
