No, the Sims 4 does not run on a Chromebook. Sims 4 needs either macOS or Windows to run. There's also a console version available for XBox 1 and PS4.

It will not make the game play on a chromebook.
Chromebooks come with Chrome Web Store (Chrome Apps, hosted web apps and Chrome Extensions), Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), Crostini (Linux Terminal) and Google Play Store. The only way The Sims 4 would work on a Chromebook is if EA Origin brought The Sims 4 to Linux. Unfortunately, Linux and Chrome OS (combined) has a market share of slightly above 2% for the desktop. Unless Linux accumulates a market share of 5% or more, The Sims 4 will hardly likely make it to Linux.
