@Miyh07 The issue is that Sony and Microsoft want a cut of game sales for Playstation and XBox, respectively, while EA receives all the money from an Origin purchase. EA is not going to pay Sony or Microsoft just to let players who own the PC version of Sims 4 play on their consoles, and EA is not going to waive its larger profits for console players to switch to PC.

We're talking about turning $3000 × $6000 And in my mind that's freaking ridiculous Even if you made the purchase digitally still should be translated to all platforms Why can't I jump to my Playstation 4 or my Xbox One Or my PC or Mac stadia By using my same account
We are absolutely not talking about $3000, at least not in U.S. dollars, or Canadian or Australian dollars either. In U.S. dollars, the Digital Deluxe version of the base game for PC costs $50, expansions (of which there are currently 11) are $40 each, game packs (10) $20, stuff packs (18) $10, and kits (9) $5. So at full price, the total cost of everything is $915. It's even cheaper during sales, like the current one: EPs are $20, GPs $14, SPs $7, and the base game $6.24, bringing the total to $537.24. It may even be slightly cheaper to bundle; I haven't checked. Console sales are more rare, but here again, even the standard price is under $1k.
Why can't I jump to my Playstation 4 or my Xbox One Or my PC or Mac stadia By using my same account Why do I have to spend 5 × $3000 I mean really do the math It's a ridiculous amount of money to put out just to use those 5 platforms that is going to be linked with the same account That literally =15,000$
There are only three versions of Sims 4 available to buy: PC/Mac, Playstation, and XBox. So the total price is at most three times the base price, not five. It's absolutely not "literally 15,000$."
That's almost the equivalent cost of a new Tesla
The base price of the cheapest Tesla is $44,990 U.S.
