Feedback about the Resume Button after Patch 1.87.40/1.58

There is no apparent way to a resume a game now except via the last played household.

If I'm in the middle of building a new house, I don't put a household on the lot. I'm just building.

So when I save the game and log out, I want to resume at the point where I can continue building that house, not be forced into the last sims family that I played and then subsequently have to navigate away from that household to where I'm building the house every time.

If I quit the game while in a household, resume in that household.

If I quit the game while in build mode on an unpopulated lot, return me to build mode on that unpopulated lot.  THAT would be "resuming"

As someone that mostly uses the sims 4 for building, the new menu that got added in the latest patch takes away the ability to instantly go to managing worlds. I either have to wait in a loading screen to continue with a sim I wont play to then exit that household and finally being able to build on a different lot without a sim attached, or i have to start a new game every time and enter CAS. I just wanna go to managing my buildings from the start menu like it used to be.

Is there something I can change in the settings to get rid of the resume button? an easier way to get to world management? Or is this just the new normal?

Just load your game from Load Game. You start in the world view. Yes, its another step which you now must do. I personally like the resume button, especially if I not down with my rotation.

I would love it if they would add a little world button for player which want just go in the world view, without the extra step to load a game.

Since the last update i cant go from the main menu to manage worlds. I have to go from main menu, to a household, and then to manage worlds. Ive tried pressing "options", but "manage worlds" is not available.

I read this somewhere: The functionality that takes you to Manage Worlds first remains the same when choosing “Load Game”.

No. It just lets me press on the few households I play. Most of the time playing sims i just build houses and never play with householdes.

PLEASE HELP. I´ve been going crazy since the awful update 26 april 2022.

Is there a known bug where it doesn't resume play for the most recent household played? I did a new save as to see if that would work but it still takes be back to the same household, even though I haven't played that family since before the recent update.
