Finn, a Tale of Bugs and Lag

Finn, the youngest son of a Sulani spellcaster and a mermaid.  So much potential.  His older brother is a mermaid and Finn inherited spellcaster abilities.  

The first sign of a problem was Infant Finn having the option to tattoo his nanny.  (report infant tattoo)
And he was able to click thru the steps of tattooing without a tattoo table.  I reported it, cleared cache and verified files.  Father's tattoo shop was unaffected.  

Finn was cute, smart and well cared for.  After the tattoo incident he progressed well.  The "go nite nite" problem with cribs was happening at the time but it wasn't unique to my save or this household.  

Close in age, the boys aged up to children.  The family went on vacation to Mt. Komorebi and visited an ancestor's house for mentoring.  I don't recall any problems with the boys.  The parents had a ceremony to renew their vows.  

Then Finn and family went to a waterpark I built.
11 Aug 2026 Finn walked on the water and slept on the surface of the pool.  
"Of course it was Finn"  

Multiple things wrong.  Left corner shows him Playful with a playground moodlet, not sleeping.  His energy seems fine, not shown to be increasing.  Water weirdness.  (reported walk on water)   

After this more things in the household start to go off.  
18 Aug Older brother is a teen.  Finn is a child.  I planned for the father to give the boys tattoos in his shop when they reach teen.  CAS for tattooing glitches ending the family tattoo business.  Could still give tattoos but with the added difficulty of the selection screen partially obscured.  Custom tats were not possible.  (reported)

It's hard to be exact but it is around this time that this household starts to lag and freeze.  
I was playing other households in between this one.  
22 Aug  I wondered if it was the lot causing the problems.  Moved the family to a new lot.  
Lag persists and becomes worse.  Needs are in the red because the Sims freeze and game time continues.  Autonomy actions replace Player actions in Queue.  Lower left the brother is awake in the bathroom but lower left shows him sleeping.  (reported freeze)  (reported more detail)

Ok, so the lot was not the problem.  I age Finn up to teen.  Move the family back to the first house.
I go play other families.  Kinda bummed.  My plans for the boys are interrupted.  

10 Sept I pop in to skill up the boys and age up the older brother to Young Adult. 
Household is still buggy and lags.  I leave again and think.  What next?  
Next is to move older brother Keio out and test if the lag follows him.  Here I'm thinking that Keio is the problem.  

2 Oct Keio moves in with two other young adults.  Normal.  I play them awhile to make sure.  
27 Oct testing further I move Finn into the household with Keio and young adults. LAG!! 
And other happenings like whatever this is below when Keio tries to go to work.  

28 Oct I move Finn out to live alone in a San Myshuno apartment.  

Return to Keio's Sulani house and the lag is gone.  Movement is back to normal.  I play this household awhile.  Take Keio and a cute housemate on a date.  Do regular activities - cook, eat, read, dance, yoga.  

Finn is the source of the glitch / lag / freeze?   Poor Finn.  His future hangs in the balance.  No point to continue with him if he corrupts every household he joins.  

I need to go back to the parent's house and check their status.  Done! 
Household returned to normal and it definitely points to Finn.   
I'll keep monitoring Finn and brother Keio.  

I could also move Finn into a NPC household and see what happens. 
Is his curse tied to Sulani?  Will he glitch every household he moves into?  

What do you think?  Any other tests I could do with Finn?
