LucyLovesMarvel    It is not a guarantee that you will corrupt your save by playing a residential rental.  It doesn't happen to every player by any means.  Please read the second link that rosemow provided above and pay attention to what crinrict says in the troubleshooting section so you can reduce the odds of it happening to you if you decide to play that venue.

Also keep in mind, there are other things that cause save corruption even if you never play a residential rental.  Players have had their saves corrupting well before For Rent came along.  So, there is always a chance anyone can have their save corrupted at some point.  It happens in other games too.
