Gallery stuck in "bootloop"

Hello everyone. I am posting on behalf of my partner. She tried to load up the gallery in game and it just wouldn't load at all. It just kept saying "attempting to connect". We left it for a bit and nothing. We tried different WiFi options as well but nothing would get the gallery to connect. We even tried uninstalling and re installing but still nothing except now we have the games with missing saves (not a problem). We are playing on steam decks and I can not find any advice anywhere which would help us so please if anyone can help that would be great. Thanks!
