Here is the Summary (I'm not sure if this is how to tell you what happened, I'm new to EA Answers HQ)
Product: The Sims 4
Platform: PC/Windows 11/Steam App
Which language are you playing the game in?: English
How often does the bug occur?: Every time I attempt to connect to the Gallery
What is your current game version number?: 1.112.481.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed?
Cats and Dogs, City Living, Cottage Living, Dine Out, Get to Work, Get Together, Seasons, Tiny Living, Dream Home Decorator.
What happens when the bug occurs?
Every time I attempt to view the gallery it says "Connection Is Required." I choose the option to try to connect and it does not stop loading until I give up. I read the Trouble shooting advice. when I click on the link to open up "https://sims4cdn.ea.com/content.ts4/config/live/killswitch/killswitch_normal15.txt" it presents me with an error message. the error message goes as follows:
<Error>
<Code>NoSuchKey</Code>
<Message>The specified key does not exist.</Message>
<Details>No such object: ts4-prod-cdn-source/config/live/killswitch/killswitch_normal15.txt</Details>
</Error>
I tried searching for this file inside of the Sims4 folder and all I could find inside of the "Content" folder was one document called retail.pc.contentmanifest.
I do not know where do go from here.
What do you expect to see?
I expect to connect to the Gallery successfully
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods?
I have MCCC. I got rid of it to test if it was the problem. Even without MC Command Centre, the issue still occurred
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system?
This happened after I downloaded The Sims 4 onto my new PC. I do not have the old laptop to be able to check if it works on that device.
