Game play, Environment, pack settings greyed out in game options

Gameplay, Environment, and Pack settings greyed out in Game Options.  Happened right after I started the game after the update. I have restarted The Sims. I trashed the Localthumbcache. This happen...

Hi please can you explain what you did to fix this I can’t work it out for love nor money and my daughter is sad she can’t play the sims with access to everything

@madtigeress1981 Some settings are save-specific. You have to select New, Resume, or Load and start a game first to access those options. Then you can access them if you don't exit to the Main Menu first, because then the game doesn't know which save you're applying them to.
