Game stuck endlessly in loading screen after downloading Life and Death

Hi! As the title says, after downloading Life & Death EP my game gets stuck in the loading screen of my current saved file forcing me to force quit every single time, Everything works perfectly once I uninstall the EP from my game but every time I try to download it and play it, with or without mods it gets stuck time and time again. Please help me figure this out. Thanks!
