Game thinks Sim is pregnant/Can't use certain objects

When I try to get my sims (male and female, multiple households) to get in to the hot tub it says "can't get in while pregnant" fyi these sims AREN'T pregnant! Then again I also have the bug where ...

Every Sim in different saves can't move beyond this part of the  Event because each time I try to use the hot tub, it tells me that it can't be used because my Sim is pregnant - even my tester sims who have never woohooed.
