Game won't load after selecting saved game

Question

I am having an issue where I launch the sims 4 and can see my current family in the main menu. I click continue on that family and the game never loads past there.

I have tried:

- Repairing the game

- Creating a whole new sims folder and then importing my old save and tray files

- Deleting my mods

None of these have worked.

@CloakedInLove Can you load other families in that save by using load and then load another family from the map ?

Yes, I am able to select another family from the map and it loads just fine. I used the Goth household to test this. If I go to the map and select this certain family though, it never goes past the loading screen.

@crinrict I evicted the family from the lot from the map and put them into a new house. They loaded now!

@CloakedInLove So it's potentially something about the house itself.

Are you still playing with the original Goth house ? If so, I would just try replacing it with another copy from the gallery. Can you upload it from another save to your library and then replace it.
